Moen 3570 Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from (This) plumber recommend The Moentrol replacement cartridge is one of the least expensive and easiest to replace. The pressure balancing valve is separate from the volume control, so you need not replace both at the same time. IPS connections would be nice but I still prefer copper risers to the spout and head, so if I need to sweat one connection, I don't mind all 4. Integral stops a must. Really like this valve! Wish it was available off of the shelf.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Valve This valve is very well made and it allows you to make all kinds of adjustments, You can adjust for more of the hot or cold water depending on whether you like a warmer of a colder shower, so when you turn it on, you get your favorite shower without dialing for the first 10 minutes. The instructions are all pictures, one with just the word "yes" on it and i found these lacking in clarity. I only have one serious issue with this valve, because it works wonderfully. My issue might be with the vender. I would have preferred IPS inlets (threaded inlets) to CC, but I could not find IPS for this particular valve anywhere. I would have made installing it much easier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price on a great valve If you are considering a Moen shower, this is the valve to use. It has the stops so that you can service it without shutting off the main. It allows flow control separate from temperature control. Great valve choice for Moen showers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Volume Control! I don't understand why more people are buying the Posi-Temp valves these days. I'd much rather add volume control as well, which these Moentrol valves do. It may be a bit confusing to your guests at first to explain that you have to pull the valve out in addition to turning, but it's a pretty natural motion. In any case, this valve works very well. When showering when someone flushes a toilet, you hardly notice as long as your water pressure is good. I look forward to many years of faithful service. If you want to save $15 and turn off the water anytime you need to do a shower repair (e.g. changing the cartridge), get the valve without shut-offs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helps Save Water I bought this to replace the standard Moen valve that came in the master shower. We wanted to be able to regulate the force/volume of water, as well as the temperature. This allows us to use less water in the shower, particularly when my wife is washing her hair and does not want a full force dousing. (And keeping her happy is the number one rule.) The in/out movement of the flow control works very smoothly. As water and sewer charges keep going up, this type of valve makes more sense.
