The faucet has two independent water lines that prevent cross-contamination between regular and filtered water. The display beeps when filters are down to 10% and a change is required. One set of filters provides as much clean water as 5,300 standard 16.9 oz. bottles, reducing waste and saving money on single-use bottles.
