It Closes... but Slowly A nice toilet seat, but it is a bit different than others. Most seats in the past were something of a rounded surface that you sat on. This one has a definite downward/inward slope. The soft close feature works well. Since I'm in a house with no children I'm not sure it is a critical function. What I'm really impressed with is the Toto Drake toilet on which this seat is mounted. The Drake has been a great replacement for my old poor flusher. Delivery by Faucet Direct and the packaging were timely and good. May 20, 2010

Works fine This is an OEM replacement for the original part that came with the toilet. The replacement process was seamless. The hardest part was cleaning the gunk that had built up under the old toilet's fittings. Overall, I am very satisfied with this part. August 29, 2008

Replacing toilet seat I replaced a toilet seat from two local merchants. Neither one lasted more than a couple of months before screws can loose and could not be fixed. I was in the market for one which would last and found the Toto. So far this one is holding up so I am happy to recommend it. This company shipped quickly so I would recomment them too.
