Veritek(R) is Swanstone's affordable compression molded material with no surface coating to chip or crack. This non-porous, durable material will not mold or mildew. Choose from bathtubs, bath and shower walls, shower floors and utility sinks and basins.

Is this a drop in tub, or is it a one piece standard type replacement tub? Also, what are the clips used for?

A. This is a Three Wall Alcove installation. The clips are used to secure the fixture to the wall; please see the detailed Installation Instructions on our website for more information.

What is it made of and what's the wall thickness? Is it flimsier than Vikrell?

A. The Swanstone BT3060R is made from Veritek with a thickness of 3/16". Swanstone's Veritek is a similar product to Sterling's Vikrell.
