How wide is this tube? I'm looking for a drop in tub in biscuit at least five feet but as narrow as I can find. Any ideas or sugguestions?

A. The Porcher 60540 is 66" long (5-1/2 feet) and 36" wide. They have a smaller version which is the 60520.

Can this tub be installed in an alcove installation for use as a shower, with an after market tile flange?

A. The Porcher 60540 is meant to be install as a drop in, which means it does not come with an apron. You can customer build an apron and install this in a 3 wall alcove. You can definitely use this for a shower as well with an after market tile flange.
