Too soon to tell We haven't used this long enough to see if it really helps with clogs, but the person installing it said he had a very hard time getting it to quit leaking at the joints. Because it is plastic, it is hard to tighten it without breaking. I'm not sure if it is a good product or not. The jury is still out. Sure hope it works. May 16, 2011

WONDERFUL! P-TRAP BOTTLE I was hesitant to order a "gimmick" as I considered this wonderful piece of equipment. Yes, it IS equipment. I have a husband who continually puts the WRONG thing in the drains.......this tool is MAGNIFICIENT for resolving those crazy issues we've had in the past. Just WONDERFULLY easy to dial it up and unclog the mess. I love it! October 16, 2010

Great product This is a wonderful invention! So far no clogged drains! Just turn the valve every so often and you sink should never clog! Love the design and the tight fit with the other plumbing- no leaks either! June 8, 2010

Long needed I couldn't believe what I saw when I received the notice on this product. I installed the two I bought and enjoy the freedom from cleaning and fishing. Bathroom sinks are famous for clogging because of the oils entering the sink. Also I have on several occasions have had to fish out a ring or other objects from the sink. Now cleaning and fishing are a snap. I hardly ever give out 5 starts but this product earns it. I have recommended this to many friends. June 8, 2010

does it work on a tub,too

No, PermFlow no clog drain can not be used on a tub.

what keeps it from clogging?
