Towel Ring from the Brantford Collection 4.6 5 6 9

Great Look but Quality has gone down I bought this Moen line to replace an existing Moen line for a homeowner. The new pro mount system is made of a plastic mount rather than the metal ones of the past. I was not impressed and have great concerns about longevity. I will not be recommending more of them and have contacted Moen to express concern. September 6, 2011

The tech specs say this is metal but one of the reviews said the ring part is plastic. Is it plastic?

A. Thank you for your question. The Moen YB2286 wall mount is made of Zinc and the ring is made of Aluminum. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

A. The Moen YB2286 spec sheet says that "post is constructed of zinc. Ring is aluminum." please see it at http://www.faucetdirect.com/mediabase/specifications/yb2286sp.pdf.
