    1/2" rough in for Moen faucets PRO: Products are good and solid. I've used them before on 2 other sink projects. Faucetdirect has always done well by me. I will continue to purchase from them. CON: I don't know if it's the crisscrossing of the flex lines or the actual faucet themselves, but the water flow is now less than what I had before. Also, I'm glad I put this together while the granite top was not installed and still sitting in the crate. The space under the counter in my situation was very tight. I don't know how anyone (not including plumbers) could install this if the counter top and sink was installed first unless they had special plumbing tools for tight locations. August 22, 2011

    No problems The Jan26, 2009 review by Pops threw me off before ordering, I did not like the idea of a snap-on drain cover to change the chrome to brushed nickel. However my Moen rough-in did not come with a chrome drain seat and chrome pop-up drain plug, nor did my faucet come with a snap on drain seat cover to change the finish. The rough-in came with *no* drain seat or drain plug and the faucet trim kit included those parts in their matching finish, as you'd expect. The install went smoothly and I was happy with the result.     Will the Moen 9000 included drain assembly work with the decolav 1401?

    The Moen 9000 would work with that fixture just fine.

    Hi, is this the only rough-in option for the Moen T6420 Double Handle Widespread Lavatory Faucet with Metal Lever Handles from the Eva Collection? The faucet is brushed nickel in color, therefore I would like a brusned nickel drain assembly.

    The Moen 9000 is every piece of the drain assembly with the exception of the pieces that require a finish. If you order a Brushed Nickel faucet, it comes with any and all trim and drain that is exposed and will be in brushed nickel, so you don't have to worry about matching finish issues. I hope this helps!

    Is there a Moen 9000 with an oil rubbed bronze drain assembly?

    The Moen 9000 is not available with an Oil Rubbed Bronze drain assembly, however, when you order a lavatory faucet to go with this rough-in, it will include the matching pop up.

    Will the Moen 9000 drain work with a sink that does not have an overflow? I will be installing it on a simple sink without overflow protection and it looks from the diagrams that there is an opening for overflow in the drain assembly.

    does this get installed behind sheet rock or just under sink?

    Under/through the sink/counter. It is the valve that works with the Moen lavatory faucet trim sets. Please see installation for complete instructions.

    Is this required for Moen T6420 faucet?

    Yes, the Moen 9000 rough in valve is required to make the Moen T6420 function. It supplies the water to the faucet.
