Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with Reflex Pullout Spray from the Aberdeen Collection
When my husband and I bought our house two years ago this faucet was already installed. However the previous owners had broken the pull down handle. Given the fact that the faucet was Moen we figured it it was worth the investment to replace the pull down handle instead of replacing the whole faucet. I wish we would have spent the $150 towards an entirely new faucet. Not only does the pull down wand never stay in the base but the faucet constantly leaks from the pull down handle. We have taken it apart and cannot correct the problem. Obviously Moen doesn't care about making quality products. I will never buy another Moen product.

Exactly what my Plumber Recommended
I know absolutely nothing about faucets or plumbing supplies so my original faucet purchase was a Delta product from Home Depot. When my plumber arrived to install the faucet he very kindly explained that you can't buy a decent faucet at Home Depot, to please return it, and to buy the Aberdeen faucet by Moen. It is the exact product my plumber carries on his truck but when purchased online, the price was about $300 cheaper. (I love my plumber but hate the costs). Bottom line: buy this faucet online to save money, and feel great knowing that it is what professional plumbers specifically recommend.

I installed this Faucet in 2008 -
Most of the reviews I have read are just plain operator error and not installed correctly.
It just makes me mad when I see reviews from people that think they know what they are doing but don't, and then say bad things about a product.
The Only thing I can complain about is the shower head has faded from it's white color to an off yellow over time. I called moen and they are sending me a new one.
this is one of the best companies I have worked with for several years.
So before you go diss'en a product - check to see that you are really not the blame for the problem and not the product.

After 6 Years
I have had 2 problems. First is the on/off handle gets loose over time. Had our builder fix it first time at 1 year review. Now in year 6 I fixed myself. Trick was Hex nut holds handle on, and it needs to be removed first. Then, tighten black cap piece under handle BEFORE re-tightening metal shroud around entire on/off unit. FREE repair, just need to do it when loosens from use over time. Second problem is WAND started leaking when switched to sprinkler mode - which we rarely use. Leaks around the rubber switcher on Wand. Costs $115 to replace, so I am asking for lifetime warranty replacement as of today. Right now we just live with it.
Overall, I like the unit, and would recommend it. Cool looking, and not many problems with it.

I did a complete house renovation 3 1/2 years ago. All my plumbing hardward is Moen. Great products. The one issue I keep having is the sprayer will not stay docked in the faucet. It worked flawlessly for a year, but now everytime I shut the water off the sprayer will pop out of the faucet.

Didn't live up to it's name or price
I have had this faucet for six months now, and waited to see if my thoughts would change, sadly they have not. While this faucets looks nice, the sprayer (even after ajusting the weight) simply hangs down from the top part, and I have to manually push it up into place. For the amount of money, I would expect a better system. I see some units have a magnet, I have been told that this helps.

Not worth the money
This faucet and matching soap dispenser was purchased in 2006. Although we have had no leaks, we have had the handle on the soap dispenser break and now the handle on the faucet itself is broken. The extension only stays in place if I work at putting it up into the faucet arm itself, but I can still see some of the inner workings that shouldn't show. I have the ORB & like the looks, but, I wouldn't get this faucet again. Too expensive for, in my opinion, Pick something else!
*Note Customer service at Moen is sending the parts needed @ no charge, to include the inner plastic piece to hold the faucet extension in squarely to the neck. Remains to be seen if this is something easily repaired.

Love the look, not the leaking!
I've had this faucet for a few years now and have had more problems with it dripping than any other. Had it looked at and was told it was not easily fixed. Since we had a fallout with our contractor we have not been able to have a warranty available to us. I had hoped not to have to replace this but I believe we will. Expensive!!

I expected more from Moen
I have had this model for 6 years. Head broke after 3 years and Moen sent me a free replacment. The head still requires frequent tweaking to stop leaks. Now a piece of plastic snapped in the handle. Seems to me a $300+ faucet would be made with better quality innards. It sure is pretty, but too high maintenance for a kitchen

I read the other reviews and have to agree with the fact that the pullout will not stay in place. It always hangs out and even if you move the weight around under the sink it rarely works correctly. Mine doesn't leak. I am now looking for a prep faucet to match and I would NOT buy this faucet again.
