Any Moen straight (not curved) rod can be cut.

Can i cut this shower rod to fit a 48" shower

The Moen 63-5-HD is not rated to be cut. Doing so would void the warranty from Moen.

The Moen 63-5-HD is fixed and the SS is adjustable.The Moen 63-5-SS is 54" - 72" Adjustable-Length.

Can it be cut down to fit a 24" opening or do you have a shorter version?

We do not recommend cutting down this rod but if you have the tools it is just a bar and it should be able to work, note that we do have shorter rods available than this.
