    1/2" CC Moentrol Rough-In with Stops 4.5 5 4 4
Great Valve This valve is very well made and it allows you to make all kinds of adjustments, You can adjust for more of the hot or cold water depending on whether you like a warmer of a colder shower, so when you turn it on, you get your favorite shower without dialing for the first 10 minutes. The instructions are all pictures, one with just the word "yes" on it and i found these lacking in clarity. I only have one serious issue with this valve, because it works wonderfully. My issue might be with the vender. I would have preferred IPS inlets (threaded inlets) to CC, but I could not find IPS for this particular valve anywhere. I would have made installing it much easier. Good price on a great valve If you are considering a Moen shower, this is the valve to use. It has the stops so that you can service it without shutting off the main. It allows flow control separate from temperature control. Great valve choice for Moen showers. November 10, 2010
Volume Control! I don't understand why more people are buying the Posi-Temp valves these days. I'd much rather add volume control as well, which these Moentrol valves do. It may be a bit confusing to your guests at first to explain that you have to pull the valve out in addition to turning, but it's a pretty natural motion. In any case, this valve works very well. When showering when someone flushes a toilet, you hardly notice as long as your water pressure is good. I look forward to many years of faithful service. If you want to save $15 and turn off the water anytime you need to do a shower repair (e.g. changing the cartridge), get the valve without shut-offs. September 13, 2010
Helps Save Water I bought this to replace the standard Moen valve that came in the master shower. We wanted to be able to regulate the force/volume of water, as well as the temperature. This allows us to use less water in the shower, particularly when my wife is washing her hair and does not want a full force dousing. (And keeping her happy is the number one rule.) The in/out movement of the flow control works very smoothly. As water and sewer charges keep going up, this type of valve makes more sense. February 22, 2010

Like many retailers, FaucetDirect.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require FaucetDirect.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.

To see the price for this product at FaucetDirect.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.

FaucetDirect.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. FaucetDirect.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
