Product Technologies:

PosiTemp Valve: A pressure balancing valve that maintains water temperature within 3° F. Built-in temperature limit stops allow you to control how far the handle rotates, in effect controlling the range of water temperature. The PosiTemp offers the best water flow available for any comparable valve.
M-PACT Common Valve System: This innovation from Moen gives the homeowner the up-most functionality and convenience when it comes to bathroom faucets. 1/2" IPS Posi-Temp Rough-In Valve with Stops 3 5 1 2

Leaky Leaky I'm not one to give poor reviews, but my experience has been bad. First off the valve stops are not 100%, they are 90-degree turn stops and do not completely shut the water off to the cartridge. Secondly, I am awaiting my 3rd cartridge from Moen. Customer service has been great, so no complaints there. But so far both cartridges let water through in the "off position" leaving a slow drip out of the shower head which will lead to a moldy constantly wet shower. The first cartridge that came with the valve did not produce cold water when in "cold", it was luke warm, and when you turn the handle closer to "off" the water warmed up. I just re-built my entire shower enclosure from studs up, new tile, and alot of time and money. If this 3rd cartridge does not work I will be upset that tile and cement board have to be cut out to plumb in new valve costing more time and money. April 27, 2011
