Modern 54 Nozzle MasterClean Fixed Body Spray from WaterTile Collection 5 5 3 3

Kohler WaterTile Body Sprays I was not able to use these because the master bath was plumbed for a surface-mount style of body sprays (I changed my mind after the marble walls were installed and they couldn't change the plumbing to accommodate the behind-the-wall assembly). I ended up with Delta body sprays, but I would have preferred the Kohlers. They tilt in all directions and are recessed into the wall. They would have looked more integral to the shower set-up. Super Rain The 54 nozzel water tile belongs in the ceiling. Make sure you don't install too many as each tile sprays 2-2 1/2 gallons per minute and most houses can only support 5-7 gallons per minute. June 28, 2009

Custom Shower System I created a custom shower system for a good friend of mine with the K-8002 shower tiles. She decided on the double-handled Stillness Thermostatic Control K-T10941-4 and K-670-KS rough in valve. She used a customer showerhead by a local manufacturer. The master bathroom is relatively small and consolidating the controls helps with from a convenience standpoint. Val wanted independent control over the body sprays so we incorporated an extra Volume Control K-T10943-4 with rough in K-671-K rough in. The end result a tight shower install that allowed for independent or simaltaneous function of her two shower tiles and custom showerhead. She was thrilled, her husband had a bear of a time installing the 3/4" connections. He's pretty handy as an appliance repairman but told me it's a different ball game then working with tradtional 1/2" fittings. He recommended a plumber do the work for any novice installers. What is the main difference between the 54 nozzle Watertile and the 22 nozzle Watertile from Kohler? Under what application is one better than the other?

There's really very little difference between the two. They both function with the same pressure, but the 54 Nozzle just spreads across a greater area with water. If you wanted a fuller saturation of water, the more nozzles, the better. If you preferred more concentrated spray, the fewer nozzles necessary.

would one pressure balanced valve provide enough pressure to run 2 (or possibly 3) of these body sprays?

It will really depend on the PSI of your house. The Kohler k-304 valves flows 6gpm at 45psi. When you add a diverter into the system it does not have enough GPM for body sprays. You will need a 3/4" valve for 2+ body sprays.

at 50 psi how far does the body spray reach when you have 2 of those on one valve

The Kohler K-8002 will do 2.5 gallons (9.5 L) per minute maximum flow rate (at 80 psi), 50 PSI should be 1.56 GPM.

What is the dimension of this one? Is it the same as K-8022?

The Kohler K-8002 is does not have the same dimension of the K-8022. The Kohler K-8002 is 4-7/8" x 4-7/8.
