The clearance minimum would be 2" for the Kohler K-780 if you don't need to swivel the faucet around. However, the K-780 can swivel 360°, so if you expect to swivel it around, you would want 8".

The Kohler K-780 does not feature an escutcheon to cover a three hole sink. The spout height refers to the distance from the spout to the base of the faucet, and the reach is the distance from the center of the stem to the spout itself.
