Beautiful & Funtional I purchased this sink 3 years ago in Cane Sugar which looks like an antiqued almond color . It is so beautiful and shows no spots from well water. I installed it as a top mount. I wondered how the low divide would be....best idea ever for a sink!....deep enough for a sink full of water, but perfect for all pots and cookie sheet size pans. I put a small, clear plastic sink divider protector across the middle divide and use that constantly to balance everything I'm rinsing off. I ordered the 2 hole and use the far right hole for an "instant hot" boiling water tap...perfect location for that. I am building a new home and am going to buy another, this time I might do the new 4 hole and can have the soap dispenser and the boiling water both! June 5, 2011

Love this sink This sink was hard to find in black in the retail stores. I was hesitant to order the sink from the internet, but had no choice. The internet purchase and delivery went very smoothly. My sink arrived on time in one piece and it has been installed for about one month. No problems with the sink. I love the lowered middle portion feature. I would recommend this product based on one month usage. June 13, 2010
Great sink! This sink is gorgeous and blends so well with my black granite countertops. And the functionality of the Smart Divide is great. I was a little worried that it may not be high enough for a single bowl of filled water - but I was happily wrong. Love it! May 22, 2009

A. The dimensions of the sink are listed under the "technical Specs", which is listed directly under the picture of the sink. Basin length is 16", Basin width is 14.06" and Basin depth is 9.00", with an overall Size of 33 x 22 inches.

I need bronze drain fittings and strainers, do you carry these for the Kohler K-5838-7U?

A. For the Kohler K-5838-7U we offer the K-8801 Solid Brass Basket Strainer with Flange and Tailpiece from the Duostrainer Collection. The Duostrainer sink strainer features solid brass construction for durability and reliability, and the removable basket strainer has an open/close stopper that seals tightly. The strainer has a 1-1/2" x 4" tailpiece and is for sink installations with 3-1/2" to 4" outlets. Ten different finshes are availible.

A. The Kohler K-5838-7U is drilled with 7 holes for faucets and accessories. The image is one that is provided by the manufacturer and shows the item with two holes drilled into the counter. This sink is an undermount and any of the holes can be used if you drill the appropriate number of holes into the counter. It can accommodate any number of holes up to 7.
