Great product at an awesome price I ordered this on 8/16/10 and it was delivered on 8/18/10. And shipping was completely free. As for the toilet, Kohler is an name you can trust. I wanted a 1.28 GPF in ice grey, and my choices were somewhat limited. But let me tell you this was a smart purchase. It flushes perfectly anything you can put in the bowl (LOL). I have 3 children and they use lots of toilet paper, and this bowl has no problem with wads of toilet paper. I will buy this same bowl for my other bathroom. Thanks August 20, 2010

I am looking for toilet that is at least 20 in. from floor to seat.

The highest bowl height that we have is 17.75" tall.

Does k-3577 or k-3497 have insulated tanks?

The Kohler K-3577-U and the K-3577-UR both have insulated tanks. The K-3497 does not have an insulated version.

It states that an angled water supply is recommended. Can it be used with a straight (vertical) water supply and if so, is there any loss in performance?

The Kohler K-3577 is compatible with the straight (vertical) water supply at no loss in performance.

What is the flushing grams of this Kohler unit?

The Kohler K-3577 has the Class 5 Flushing System, which is rated to move between 800 and 1000 grams of solid waste per flush.

What is the bowl hight of the K-3577 and what is the recommended toilet seat?

The bowl height of the Kohler K-3577 is 14-1/2".

Depending on the seat that you want, it is recommended to be used with K-4658 or the K-4689.
