Inspired by the beauty and intrigue of Celtic knots, Trilseán endlessly intertwines around the bottom of the lavatory basin. Although this type of decoration is traditionally attributed to the Celts, its popularity has spread globally and is commonly associated worldwide with love, good luck, and spiritual protection. The name Trilseán, however, is in honor of the design's heritage as it means braid in native Irish. This decorative motif along the basin bottom was strategically designed to aid with water drainage.
