Big problem The mounting screw ring (PN 1115287) and washer (PN 1128531) have been modified by Kohler for unknown reason. The ring and washer will not fit through the holes in Kohler sinks so if you are planning an undermount you will have to call Kohler customer support to get the proper screw ring (PN 78539) and washer (PN ?). It is not an easy task. They don't believe you at first, you have to ask for technical support. I have made five calls, gotten one wrong washer, and it has been 3 weeks and I still don't have the proper size washer. September 7, 2011
Good design, good value I wanted a pull out spray with a traditional design. There was not many to pick from. We have used this faucet for two weeks with new granite countetops and are very pleased with faucet and spray. Faucet handle turns off with back of hand or wrist if your hands are dirty easily. Constant Trouble I would never recommend this faucet..Every year I have to get a replacement sprayer, it will not give a steady stream. If you want to leave it on spray then it is OK, but otherwise it splatters all over the place. The problem is in switching from spray to stream, it will not stay on stream. so far so good. just had it put in last week. We got a new countertop also, so this looks just perfect with it. One of the main reasons I went to Kohler is because a good friend of mine told me how you stand up to your products. To me, that is very important, especially if down the road I have a problem. Disappointed We have only had this faucet for 4 years. After a few months the spray/stream control locked into spray mode. Two days ago the entire faucet spray assembly broke off from the flexible hose! There are only two people in our home - so the faucet has gotten very light use. We're going to contact Kohler tomorrow and see if they will replace this disappointing lemon of a faucet :( November 1, 2010

With the kohler sink no. 6625 can this faucet be centered instead of mounted along the divider? will the reach be long enough to reach the smaller bowl?

A. The Kohler K-12177 has a spout reach of 9" from the center. The 6625 is a counter mount sink with no faucet holes. So, you can mount the faucet anywhere you wish. But, with only a 9" reach, we wouldn't recommend center mounting so you can have proper clearance to the smaller basin.

after removing the screw the handle will not come off the valve, pulling straight up

A. The Kohler K-12177 can be removed by tapping the handel up with a rubber mallet. The valve stem and the handle lften fuse together so be sure to have a replacement valve stem on hand.

Is the spray head metal or plastic?

A. The Kohler K-12177 spray head, itself, will be a metal coated plastic to keep it from being too heavy.

A. The entire Kohler K-12177 must be replaced with this type of damage.

do you sell faucet that can be use with control on left, single hole, abt 6" high?

A. Any faucet that has a swivel neck to it should be able to be installed with the handle on the left side opposed to the right side. You would set at time of installation.
