Forté(R) single-control remote valve kitchen sink faucet with sidespray and lever handle
A different twist on the Forté single-control kitchen faucet. The valve is remote so the spout can reach new heights to provide greater sink clearance. The fluid, all-metal design is easy to clean and easy to use. It features both washerless ceramic valving and a high-temperature limit stop to eliminate scalding and maintain precise water control in both the faucet and the sidespray.

"Our Kohler faucet arrived very quickly from FaucetDirect. It works very well, is very easy to wipe down due to its sleek design, and pivots side to side quietly. It drips for a second after shut-off due to the arc design of the spout (as explained by our plumber), but always stops in about a second. I'm very happy with this faucet!"

"Purchased this faucet in stainless steel finish for our kitchen renovation project. Looks great with our simple, Asian inspired kitchen. Looks awesome with our black granite sink. Functions very well. Only downside is the "splash" factor, which is common with faucets with more height (even with a deep sink). Will probably invest in an aerator attachment to help with this minor issue. Overall, we are very happy with our new Kohler faucet (we have had very good experience with Kohler products in the past). We are also very happy with FaucetDirect (first purchase)."

"We have Kohler fixtures throughout our bathrooms, but his was our first Kohler purchase for the kitchen. We've had this installed in our new kitchen for about 3 weeks now. We love the way it looks and are satisfied with the way it performs. It has that wonderful, solid Kohler "feel" to it. The faucet swivels smoothly from sink to sink. My husband thinks the sprayer is not as powerful as he would like to spray food off the dishes before placing in the dishwasher...but that is a matter of preference. Too strong and it splashes everywhere. I'm satisfied with the force. We are experiencing some residual "dripping" from the sprayer after you turn the water off and set it back in its hole. This pools on the granite around its base. Kohler is sending a new sprayer and diverter to remedy the problem. Kohler does have a pretty good service reputation--from our present and past experience."

Is the sprayer on this unit plastic or is it metal like the faucet?
A. The side sprayer is plastic. Plastic has several benefits over metallic spide sprayers. Metal is heavy and does not insulate heat; plastic is light, so dropping the product won't chip your sink and insulates your hand from the hot water running through the sprayer.

I have a double sink so need a faucet that rotates -- ideally 180 degrees. Is this faucet stationary or does in rotate?
A. Kohler K-10430 can rotate, you should have no problem using that with two sinks.

Can you use this faucet on a sink that has 4 holes if you install a soap dispenser.
A. Yes, the Kohler K-10430 can be used in a sink with four holes. The fourth hole could be used with a soap dispenser or, if you have a dishwasher, an air gap.
