can this product extend the length of the shaft on the 15160 faucet, we have a bottom mount kohler sink, thru 1 1/4 in. granite, the shaft is too short, help. we can't install the faucet without an extension..

My counter top is 3 inches thick. Does this extension allow for that thick of counter top?

A. The Kohler K-1012715 will be able to convert a faucet to be used with that thick of counter tops. For use with models 690, 691, 692, 12177, & 15160. Let me know if you have any other questions.
