what size hole should be drilled into the deck to install this faucet - I have not yet received mine and the workman is ready to cut the hole - thanks

A. Jado 803/840 uses a standard size sink hole. Sinks with pre-drilled holes are 1 3/8"

Does the spray function lock or must you hold the button the whole time for spray?
