Sticky faucet issue
I bought this unit to replace one that I had purchased six or seven years ago. That one worked well until the warranty had expired and then it started sticking in the open position. The maintenance instruction said this could not be fixed and from the info in some user chat room, I tried taking the innerds apart, but was unsucessful. I didn't have the time to fool with it anymore, so I bit the bullet and spent the big bucks on a replacement. I wasn't happy about having to do this for an item that should have been easy to clean and fix.

Great Replacement
Had an old hot water only In SinkErator. Replaced it with this hot and cold water model and love it.

Hot Water Dispenser Double Handle
I received the Double Handle in fairly short time. The instalation instructions were clear. The handle was quite easy to install and it feels and works better than the one it replaced, though that one was a quite famous brand. While the prices for most products in this source appear a bit high, I recommend FaucetDirect without any reservations for quality-minded consumers.

After using other instant hot brands, I have found that the InSInkErator product is superior in performance and in longevity.

This is offered seperately by InSinkErator for customers who may already have one of the units. trying to match a finish with an Elkay "Harmony Lustertone satin finish" sink - which finish will match the closest? thanks you...What is the closest finish to match Kohler's stainless steel faucet and a Franke stainless steel sink?Does this item allow for a Reverse Osmosis System to be attached?Which finish is closest to stainless steel -- brushed chrome or satin nickel?We want to get the HC1100 in sink erator and we wanted to know what the colour code for the white finish is?
