Ieave the rest and get the best Had a Badger5 by same company, noisy and did not grind many things and began to leak. It was only 5 years old. The Evolution Excel works wonders in ginding anything so far and can't belevie how quiet it is. April 25, 2011

AWSOME!!! Bought this because it was suggested by one of the electricians installing the sound system. It is in our summer apartment in Napes Florida, which has an open floor plan. Not only is is a delight to operate with the single push of a button in the counter is it also SILENT. The one that came istalled from the apartment developers sounded like a machinegun. Not only is is a delight to look at;it also works!!! March 23, 2011

insinkerator - stinks We purchased this unit from a highly preferred plumbing supply house. Our plumber installed the unit and have had trouble with it since day 1. We called the Insinkerator company and they told us we could not use our plumber for service (replacing the unit) they had to use one of their "qualified" plumbers. Come on - if it does not spin while the motor is overhaeting there is an issue... So we wait 8 days for their guy to show up - and behold the motor is bad. Now, 20 days later their guy called us today and tells us the new disposal is in and he wants to come tomorrow afternoon - can't really justify taking time off of work for this - I paid $$$ and should not have to lose $ by taking time off work. So now, in 10 more days it will be installed. Let's see if it works !! Very poor customer service !! August 30, 2010

I dont get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, we bought one a few months back. It worked great untill now. We cant get it to turn on. I'v tried everything, and I dont know what to. Please need help dont know what to do. ): May 1, 2010

Grind Away Replaced the former owners DIY install with this unit (only cost a bit more to go first class) WOW. Installed in less then 40 min and when my wife and new child got back from the hospital she told me the disposal now doesn't even turn on. To her surprise it was running but was so quiet compaired to the old unit. Bones are no match, and handles it all. I was more concerned with the lack of grinding our last unit was sending down stream and in checking the plumbing I can say after a month of grinding no issues in the plumbing P trap is almost a clean as the sink side.
