Shipping Policy

FaucetDirect.com proudly offers some of the most comprehensive shipping options available. We’ve partnered with only the best carriers to ensure that you will benefit by receiving low shipping rates and the convenience of delivery right to your home.  

We’re pleased to offer three levels of service: 

 

1.)    Small Pack Delivery:

Smaller to midsize items will be shipped using our UPS small pack service. Options for this service include: Super Saver, Standard Ground, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air** (Next Day Air is saver shipping and guaranteed by 7pm local time). 

If you’ve ordered two or more items, you may receive your order in multiple boxes. Due to the variability of shipping locations, your order may be received on different days. There are no additional charges for split shipments. 

Because Next Day and Two Day delivery service involve air transport, some items cannot be shipped via these options. Items containing hazardous or regulated materials or some very large or heavy items must be shipped to you via freight carrier; these items are identified at time of purchase.

We do our best to ensure that shipping is correctly calculated before you purchase, however, at times it may not be possible to do so accurately. We reserve the right to notify you after you have purchased an item of any additional shipping or handling charges necessary to deliver your order. If notified of any additional charges you have the right to modify or cancel your order for a full refund.  

   

Shipping Schedule:

 

        Orders received before 12:00 p.m. PST, Monday - Friday* will be shipped the same business day.

 

        Orders received after 12:00 p.m. PST, Monday - Thursday* will be shipped the following business day.

 

        Orders received after 12:00 p.m. PST on Friday will be shipped on Monday* morning.

 

        Orders received on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday* morning.

 

        *During holidays, any orders normally processed will not go out until the next business day.

 

2.)    Standard Freight Delivery:

Larger, heavier items, items of a fragile nature, or items containing regulated materials, will be delivered by a freight carrier. Standard freight service includes delivery of your order curbside only. Delivery of your merchandise inside your home is available using our White Glove Delivery Service. Standard freight delivery typically spans 5-7 business days.
 

3.)    White Glove Delivery:

This service includes delivery of the items inside your home, into  the room of your choice.* As part of this service, the carton and packing materials are removed and disposed of. We highly recommend this option for larger, heavier appliances.

White Glove Delivery is a premium service, and is available for an additional charge. Because of the care of handling in transit, white glove delivery usually spans 10-14 days.

 *Note! White Glove Delivery Services apply to single story deliveries only. Deliveries involving more than 5 stairs will be subject to additional charges. Please contact customer service for more details.
 

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT FREIGHT DELIVERY!

 

Carriers prefer to make the delivery with the person who originally placed the order. In the event that you would like some else to receive the delivery on your behalf, please contact our customer service, and we'll be glad to make that change for you.

During the delivery process the carrier will require the merchandise to be signed for, and it is very important to inspect the delivery carton for any creases, tears, dents, or holes.-Should any of these damages exist, please write that information on the face of the delivery receipt.

Failure to properly notate damages or shortages will waive our right to file a claim against the carrier on your behalf.

Shipping Rates

Weight and package size can vary depending on your order. All shipping rates are determined by either the United Parcel Service shipping gateway, a per piece calculation, or occasionally we will pay or discount shipping costs based on a promotion. Once you begin the check out process your shipping cost will be calculated. 

**Orders containing items that must ship via LTL freight that are over $1500 qualify for free shipping (lower 48 states only).**

If your order is going to be shipped based on weight, you must input your zip code before you check out.

 

  
 


Based on the weight of your order and the location it is being shipped to, you will have the option to choose from several different shipping rates.

 

 

 

If you believe the rate is incorrect, or are unable to complete your checkout process, please contact customer service for assistance.  

Shipping Backorders

We proudly boast excellent fill rates, but occasionally we must backorder or source inventory from multiple warehouses. This means that different parts of your order can come from various locations around the country. 

If you order more than one item, we will make every effort to send available items together. In the event only some of the items in your order are available at a single location, we reserve the right to ship you multiple packages from multiple warehouses. If we elect to break your order into multiple packages, you will not incur any additional freight charges. In the unlikely event we are unable to ship your order complete.

we reserve the right to ship the stock we have and backorder the items which we were unable to ship. You will be notified via e-mail of the estimated delivery date for your backordered items. You will not be charged any additional freight charges for items that are backordered.

Shipping & Order Confirmations

Shortly after placing your order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order. You will receive a second email when your order has shipped. (You will receive more than one shipment confirmation email if your order is fulfilled in multiple shipments). Please save these email invoices for your records.

Canadian Shipments

All shipments to Canada are first sent to our consolidation center in order to generate all documents required by customs. All orders will then ship complete from the consolidation center to the customer. For all Canadian shipments, please add 5-7 days to the normal United States shipment times.

 
In addition:
  • Charges will include all applicable taxes and duties, and no COD fees will be charged at the time of delivery
  • We are currently only offering standard ground and LTL service to Canada
  • If you wish to cancel any shipment, you can do so up until the time it’s left our drop ship vendor. Once the items are en route to our consolidation center, it then becomes a return and restocking fees may apply
