"Stick with washers..having to spend $30-$40 to fix a drip is silly. We have well water and I'm on my third hot water cartridge since 1990... I would not recommend this so called improvement to the 25 cent rubber washer but unless I want to replace the fixture Im stuck with it."

"Remodeled a few years ago and used Grohe fixtures throughout the house. Was glad to go to a washerless design, but now instead of replacing a washer, I have to replace the whole valve. Evidently the porcelin in the valve gets scratched from particles from our well water which causes them to leak."
