Plastic junk I was dissapointed to find that this cover plate is not only plastic but the cap portion is not a polished finsh like the rest of the fixtures even though it is called polished chrome. It looks like cheap plastic!!! YUK! July 31, 2011

new bathroom this particular item is overpriced, in my opinion. it consist of a plastic cap that covers a steel elbow April 19, 2011

Product Description is Misleading I purchased this thinking it was metal because the less expensive similar Grohe product (28 672) said it was plastic. Construction material is not mentioned in the on-line ad or Grohe site. Turns the cover and trim are all plastic on both units. You're paying $20 extra for this because there is a gray plastic cap at the end rather than the same chrome colored plastic as the body. Its definitely not worth the $20 more, and I'm not sure why they would have that anyway. I would prefer that both models be in chrome colored metal. August 15, 2009

hello is this plastic or metal?

The Grohe 28 627 has both plastic and brass parts. The nipple inside is brass while the outside cover is a copper nickel plated ABS plastic

Can this elbow be used with the Euphoria handshower #27243?

We don't carry the Euphoria handshower. I can tell you that this Grohe 28 627 has a 1/2" NPT female thread. This is pretty standard, so if your Euphoria handshower fit this thread type it should work.
