great design I actually used this faucet in a sunken tub. It mounted on the wall with minimal plumbing rough in. I also removed the hand shower and installed a exposed shower riser instead. The faucet looks great and works without a hitch. Would buy another! October 15, 2010
Everyone should try this faucet!!! I am 50 years old and purchased this faucet about a month ago-I think I will live another 30 years for sure, but I want to make sure that I have "this faucet" until I die!!! I absolutely LOVE IT! Does "wall mounted" mean mounted to an actual wall or to the "wall" of the tub?

"Wall mounted" means that it mounts to the side of something, wall, tub, risers ect. The other version is deck mounted which is mounts on top of the surface

Is the elements Design ES2661X o.k. for standard tubs? It says clawfoot tubs.

The Elements of Design ES2661X is a wall mounted tub fixture and has a spout reach of aprox 7"

What is the distance between the hot and cold inlets?

The Elements of Design ES2661X centers of the hot and cold outlets can vary between 3.5" and 8.5".

can it be used on a whirlpool tub?

The Elements Of Design ES2661X is a wall mounted faucet so it can't be mounted on the tub but it will work as the tub filler and handshower.

Does it come with wall bracket to hold the shower head? Can I buy them extra brackets?

The Elements Of Design ES2661X does not feature a wall bracket for the hand shower.

Does this model come in a satin finish?

Elements Of Design ES2668X is the satin nickel version of this faucet.

The Elements Of Design ES2661X is the wall mounted only version. The ES2671X is the deck mounted version of the faucet.

The Elements Of Design ES2661X spec sheet shows 3.5" minimum to 8.5" maximum spread. You can use the Elements of Design DT0521AX that states 3 3/8".

The Elements Of Design ES2668X is the option offered in Satin nickel. Elements of designs Satin nickel is the nearly identical to a brushed nickel finish.

does this unit need any other elements

How long is the shower line? Can you stand and shower?

The Elements Of Design ES2661X is a tub filler so you can't us while standing. The hose dimension is not specified - however, majority are about 4 feet long.

My old faucet is 3-3/8" drilling I am not sure if this model would work on my bath tub.

The Elements of Design ES2661X has an adjustable spread of 3" to 9" and would be compatible with your current bathtub.

Can this model attach to the the tub itself or wall only?

The Elements Of Design ES2661X is only able to be mounted on the wall. An example of a faucet that can be mounted onto the tub directly would be model number ES2678X. Both of these faucets are from the same Charleston Collection.
