Yes you can use either showerhead. The T17292 showerhead is 6" across and the other is 8".
The Delta T17292 can be used with that shower arm.
They both provide the same water volume but the Dryden head has a higher PSI at 80.
The shower arm (pipe) is 5.5".
The Delta T17292 does have the Single function shower head.
The Delta T17292 comes with metal handles. Both of them are metal lever handles.
The Delta T17292 doesn't have the option to change your flow rate between 1.5 and 2 gpm. Those two flow rates vary based on the water pressure in your home. If you have 40psi you would have 1.5 gpm, and if you had 80psi you would get 2 gpm.
The Delta T17292 will work with any of the R100000 rough in valves. The suffix tell you what type of pipe connection the ends have or the flow etc. The WS means with stops, that means the valve has stops on it to turn water off. The IP means that the valve connection is threaded on the inside and UNBX on the outside.
The difference between Delta R10000-UNBXT is that it accepts thermostatic cartridges for use with the T17T trims.
The Delta T17292 has the H2O kinectic technology which reduces the water that flows through the shower head or body spray at 1.5 GPM, but it doesn't feel like that because of the way that it is distributed through the head.
The Delta T17292 will have a single function shower head spray.
The Delta T17292 is made from brass.
