Product Technologies:
- Monitor: Delta Monitor showers feature pressure balance valve cartridges, which protect against sudden temperature or pressure changes to keep the water in the shower within a safe +/- 3°F. Monitor valves also feature a high-temperature limit stop that can be adjusted to suit your shower needs.
- Touch Clean: Only Delta offers showers equipped with Touch Clean soft, rubber nubbins (spray holes) that allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up with the touch of a finger. This is particularly helpful for areas with hard water.
- MultiChoice Valve: Flexibility is the big benefit of the MultiChoice Universal Valve. Once the MultiChoice rough is installed, future shower function upgrades or style changes can easily be made without altering the plumbing behind the wall.

Solid and looks great!
This is a great buy. We love the look of this shower faucet. It is heavy and good quality. Everything we were finding in this price range seemed to be cheap and made of plastic. Looks really nice and modern.
Buy the wall kit if you did not have a Delta before. We did not relize that and had to go and buy it later.

Great value and quality
I bought two of these, one for a guest bath and one for an outdoor shower. It really worked out well outside as it extends far from the stucco wall so very roomy (something you wouldn't think about when ordering). Also, my plumber loved this shower too. It works and looks great! Just as good of quality (in my opinion) as my Kohler stuff in our master bath at a fraction of the cost.

Yes, with the addition of a diverter trim and valve, like the Delta T11986 and R11000.
can you buy just the arm and showerhead? i want to have a danze sirius valve trim.

The Delta T14286-SHQ will have a 2.5 gallons per minute flow rate. This is standard and does offer good water pressure. The water pressure will also depend on how the plumbing is set up as well.

The rough in valve for the Delta T14286-SHQ is the R10000-UNWS.

By using a straight shower arm instead of a 90 degree angle shower arm, the Delta T14286-SHQ could be installed on the ceiling.
Do I have to replace the rough in valve if it is already a delta system?
If existing roughin is prior to 2006 you have to have a 1300 or 14000 valve, if existing valve was installed after 2006 you do not need to replace the valve.
Does this come without scald guard?
Both valves that are compaitble with the Delta T14286-SHQ come with the scald guard feature.
I can not tell if the Delta T14286-SHQ includes the shower head and handle or just the shower head. Please advise. Also, what does "Trim Only" mean? Finally, do I need the Rough In if if I am simply replacing the shower head and handle I currently have. Thanks for your help.
The Delta T14286-SHQ includes what is in the picture. Showerhead and trim. Trim only means it only includes the parts on the outside of the wall. Generally you will need to change out your rough-in valve (the part behind the wall) when you want to change to a newer trim. It is very rare to find a new trim that will work with an older valve. If you are interested in the showerhead only, you can find it here.
Is it possible to pair this with body sprayers that can operate at the same time as the shower? If you which diverter kit and valves would be required?
The Delta T14286-SHQ can be used in conjunction with the Delta T11986 6 port diverter. This will enable you to use the existing valve (that comes with the T14286-SHQ) with the body spray(s).
Is this shower no lead shower?
The low lead laws only apply to drinking water faucets. Shower systems don't fall into this category.
