Good Multipurpose Shower
This shower head installed easily and works very well. The wide head spreads the spray out to make a very small flow feel more satisfying. The hand spray also works very well without 10 different settings you have to sort through.

Construction
Ordered based on web info stating that product was not made of plastic. Product is made of plastic with the exception of the shower arm (pipe that connects to plumbing in wall). Armored hose is also plastic covered. Product works fine but durability is suspect.

Will Replace It
Recently had this installed. It is very large. Seems to be a big design flaw in that the hand set is constantly falling out of place crashing into the new tub and new tile. Even though this cost a lot, I will be going out this weekend to purchase a replacement for it.

Best showerhead
It's amazing to have both a shower head and a hand shower without having to get cold just to use the hand shower. For the price it's kind of hard to beat for such a nice innovative design.

Very luxurious
Different choices of water spray are great. i liked the setting with all holes open - very soft luxurious flow. i love that i can turn on only the removable head for rinsing the whole shower area after cleaning, which is why i bought it in the first place. only thing i don't like is that the whole head part doesn't tilt up/down. otherwise love it.

How well does this shower head function with both the shower head and the hand held operating at the same time on a low pressure system?
The Delta 58065 is going to perform based on the water pressure available to the unit. If your plumbing is set up for 3/4" and a booster, then you can expect adequate pressure while operating both at the same time.
Is this a high pressure shower head?
The Delta 58065 is a typical pressure shower head at 2.5 gallons per minute at 80 psi.
What if I install a valve that has both the therm. and the pressure controls, and then later switch the shower head to the 58065?
The Delta 58065 is not going to be affected by your valve having separate pressure & temperature controls. You wont have any problems swapping out your showerhead to the intuition if you choose to. Hope this helps!
Can the hand held unit operate independent from the fixed unit? Can they both be turned on independently?

Does this product have scald guard
The Delta 58065 does not have a scald guard.
What exactly does it mean that the 58065 is multi-function but the 58045 is not multi-function?
The Delta 58065 is multi-function because the handshower itself has different spray functions that can be changed. The 58045 does not have that option.

The Delta 58065 has four different settings and the 58045 has 5 settings. There's a diverter on the end of the shower arm that allows you to have them run independently or together.

The Delta 58065 offers a multi-function handshower as opposed to the 58045 which is a single function only.
Will the T14038 valve & trim kit work with this?
