disappointed I ordered thi faucet in oil rubbed bronze - I don't know how a company could have called this finish ORB - it was a light mocha color, very fake looking... Can't give it a higher rating because I wouldn't trust the other finishes! There are others on the market with the same look... August 27, 2011

lovely but drain isn't for vessel sink! This is a gorgeous faucet. Husband installed it without much trouble at all however the drain assembly that is packaged with it is for an overflow sink. If you have a vessel sink with no overflow you will need to get an additional popup, so figure that into your costs. The D495082 is recommended so we just ordered it. April 19, 2011

Perfect fit This faucet was exactly what we were looking for for a spare bath. We had rot iron towel racks, etc. and chose the black finish and it looks great!!!!! December 10, 2010

Can the on/off handle be put on the left side of the faucet?

A. Yes the handle can be put on the other side prior to mounting the faucet. Of course once the faucet has been mounted to the counter top or sink it cannot be changed without uninstalling the faucet.

Is there a thick deck extension kit available for this product?

A. Yes of course your item is the Danze D492536 Extension Kit for Ceramic Mixing Valve.

This faucet can be used with a vessel sink and does it come with a drain assembly?

A. The Danze D221557 has a touch-down drain. So long as your vessel sink includes an overflow hole the drain paired with this faucet is compatible, if your sink does not have an overflow you would want to purchase the D495082 drain assembly. This would be a very good pairing with a vessel sink that is 5 1/4" tall or shorter.

Can the on/off handle be put on the front side of the faucet? Want to install soap/lotion dispensers on either side of faucet.

A. The Danze D221557 has a fixed bottom so you can not move the on/off handle to the front.

A. The Danze D221557 does not come with an escutcheon plate

Spout height is 7.375 inches, so couldn't the vessel sink be nearly 7 inches tall and still work?

A. The Danze D221557 does have a 7.575" spout height, which will accommodate a 7" vessel yes. Although, with the position of the handle, unless mounted directly to the side of the vessel, it will be difficult to reach.

I want to purchase this sink in satin black for a vessel sink that does NOT contain a top drain hole. What are my options for matching a corresponding drain, since I udnerstand the D495082 drain assembly does not come in satin black?

A. The Danze D221557 faucet may not be hight enough for a vessel and is only 7.3 ", If this is high enough then it already includes the matching clicker drain.
