1. What does the Aqua-Pure® Scale Stopper Do?
   • Greatly reduces hardness scaling
   • Pro-longs the life of your tankless water heater
   • Prevent so-called "brown" or "red" water
   • Stops corrosion of plumbing and bathroom fixtures
2. What is scale build up?
   • All tap water contains calcium and magnesium ions. "Hard water" contains relatively large amounts of these trace minerals that will attach itself to pipes, plumbing fixtures, and heating coils.
3. Does Aqua-Pure® Soften Water?
   • No. This product uses a water treatment compound called Siliphos®; a glass-like Polyphosphate containing Sodium, Calcium, Magnesium and Silicate. Siliphos® prevents Calcium and Magnesium ions from leaving traces in your plumbing.
4. Is this item available and ready to ship immidiately? 
   • No. There was actually an issue at Cuno recently.  The Quality Control staff found that a baffle was malfunctioning on the latest batch, so Cuno stopped production on the item.  There is a back order till June, but the wait is worth it.  This wait only proves Cuno products are manufactured well and of the highest quality.
