tile guard to big. Warn your tile man that the tile guard is only about a quarter inche smaller then the trim. Any gaps at all and the trim will not cover !! April 19, 2011

We are looking for a diverter valve that will deliver water to A or B or A and B. Does this valve allow water to flow to these combinations?

The American Standard R420 is only a two-way diverter (A or B), you need a three or six settings diverter. Either of those will give you the options you want. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

What temp valves work with it

The American Standard R420 will work with the r116ss.

I need a deep set socket to remove the brass cap. I believe it is 15/16. Does AS sell a tool that will faciliate removing this diverter's cap. R430 (three way diverter).

American standard does not sell a special tool to service the valve.
