Found: hard-to-find item. I needed a corner mount tank lever for American Standard tank 4072. "Universal" lever from big box store did not fit. Product detail on FaucetDirect.com specified tank 4072, which was helpful as the part number on old lever was not legible. ($9.00 S&H for 6" plastic item is high.) August 28, 2011

American standard Tank Lever Could not find the corner mounted replacement lever anywhere for the AS 047242-0200A . The front mount works, but is very flimsy. Found the exact part here online and replaced all of our levers with the factory part. Perfect! October 15, 2009

speedy shipping I am the proud owner of an American Standard extended bowl toilet...: - ). Unfortunately, American Standard uses a cheaply built plastic flush lever that is prone to breakage which the local supply houses don't carry. Unable to find a replacement, I did a Google search and hence this plumbing provider... I ordered the part one day and it arrived the next, all the way from California to Kentucky....WOW! Personally, I wasn't in that big a hurry, and neither was my toilet and I would have preferred a cheaper shipping choice, but in any case, these folks came through with the right part and my toilet couldn't be happier. So, as the Bart says, "Alls well that ends well." November 26, 2007

Will this trip lever (047242-0200A) fit American Standard Tank 4088?

A. The American Standard 047242-0200A is an assembly piece without the logo. When I contacted American Standard they informed me that they do not have a 4088 tank. They have a 4086, which the lever for that would be the 738253 or 728254, or the 4078 tank which would be the 047192.
